The Kaikoura is a touring PFD built for long days and loaded trips, in a sea kayak or an open canoe. What sets it apart from a basic buoyancy aid is the storage, so the kit you need stays on you rather than packed away in the boat.
The fold-flat clamshell front pockets keep things organised, with two-way zips that work with a VHF radio and a writing surface inside for notes. A rear pocket takes a hydration bladder for longer journeys, and reflective SOLAS tape adds visibility if the weather closes in.
Comfort holds up mile after mile thanks to Flex Fit wrap foam, a soft FlexWeave lining and neoprene underarm panels. CORDURA® 500D and ripstop nylon handle the wear that comes with regular touring.
