Palm Gradient Boot 3.0 - Step it UP

The Palm Gradient Boot 3.0 represents the culmination of two years of development and extensive testing, designed specifically to excel in water environments. Every aspect of the Palm Gradient Boot is engineered for performance and durability, making it the ultimate choice for water sports and outdoor adventures.

 

The custom Vibram sole, made from ultra-sticky Idrogrip rubber, is equipped with traction lugs to keep your feet secure whether you’re ascending, descending, or running on wet and uneven surfaces. This high-traction sole is a key feature of the Palm Gradient Boot, providing unmatched stability in any condition.

Comfort is another hallmark of the Palm Gradient Boot, thanks to its dual-density foam midsole, which adds cushioning to the heel and stability throughout. The forefoot is designed with denser foam, offering enhanced control whether you're in a boat, walking along the riverbank, or on the move. The durable upper includes a neoprene cuff to block debris, while the large toe box, complete with a removable insole, provides extra room for winter socks, ensuring warmth and comfort in cold weather.

Designed in collaboration with footwear expert Mike Boston and Vibram, with input from Palm staff and team athlete Bren Orton, the Palm Gradient Boot 3.0 was created with every detail carefully overseen. Bren, a visionary in the sport, brought his passion and artistry to the design, with vibrant, movie-inspired colours and a unique touch of his waterfall art. The Sherbet+Turquoise Gradient 3.0 is more than just a high-performance river shoe; it is Bren’s dream realized—cool, bold, and unmistakably stylish.

 

In May 2024, we tragically lost Bren to the river. To honour his memory, a portion of every sale of the Palm Gradient Boot goes toward a cause supporting his family and preserving his legacy.

I've had one of these for about 45 years but the "tread" is finally wearing off the rubber bits. I swear by them, they are the only type of nose clip that reliably keeps the water out of my head. Not as cheap or stylish as others perhaps but you won't be disappointed with the performance.
